Day 1 Portugal / Bangkok
Departure by flight to Bangkok, by the chosen route. Night on board
Day 2 Bangkok
Arrival in Bangkok. Transfer and accommodation. Free afternoon.
Day 3 Bangkok
Breakfast and city tours. You'll see Wat Trimit or Temple of the Golden Buddha, Wat Pho or Temple of the Reclining Buddha and the Royal Palace, symbol of the city and home to the Emerald Buddha.
Day 4 Bangkok
Breakfast. Free day to stroll around this bustling city.
Day 5 Bangkok / Ayuthaya / Khao Yai / Korat
Full board. Departure by road to Ayuthaya to visit the archaeological ruins. You will see Wat Mon-gkolbopit and Wat Yai Chai Mongkol. Continue to Khao Yai Nature Park, lunch at a restaurant. Short walk to the Heu Suwat waterfalls before continuing to Khorat. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 6 Khorat / Pimai / Phitsanuloke / Sukhothai
Full board. Departure for Pimai to visit the largest Cambodian-style temple in Thailand. Departure for Phitsanuloke, visiting the Phra Sorn Kaew temple on the way. Lunch in a restaurant. Arrival in Phitsanulo-ke. Visit the Wat Mahatat temple. Continue to Sukhothai. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 7 Sukhothai / Lampang / Chiang Rai
Full board. We will visit the archaeological site of Shukhothai and take a bike ride through the gardens and archaeological remains. We will see one of the most important icons, the great White Buddha of Wat Sri Chum. Continue to Lampang and visit the Wat Phra Kaew Don Thao temple. Lunch in a restaurant. On the way back, stop at Payao Lake. Arrival in Chiang Rai. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 8 Chiang Rai / Golden Triangle / Chiang Rai
Full board. Departure to visit the "big ears" tribes. Lunch in a restaurant. Continue to the Golden Triangle, where three countries, Myanmar, Laos and Thailand, meet. You will board a boat to travel along the river. Visit the opium museum. Return to Chiang Rai. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 9 Chiang Rai / Chiang Mai
Half board. Departure for Chiang Mai, on the way you will see the white temple of Wat Rongkhun. Lunch in a restaurant. In Chiang Mai, visits to Doi Suthep Temple.
Day 10 Chiang Mai
Half board. Departure for the elephant camp where you will enjoy an unforgettable show where the elephants' skills are put into practice. Continue with a ride through the jungle on the back of an elephant (approx. 45 minutes). You will then take a bamboo canoe down the river and visit an orchid plantation. Lunch in a restaurant. Return to Chiang Mai. Visit to the handicraft center.
Day 11 Chiang Mai / Portugal | Thailand Beach* | Bali Beach** | Maldives***
Chiang Mai / Portugal Breakfast. Departure on the return flight, according to the chosen itinerary. Night on board (with some airlines, the flight is during the day and will arrive in Portugal on the same day). * Thailand beach extension: Chiang Mai / Thailand Beach (Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi or Koh Samui) Breakfast. Departure by flight to Thailand Beach. Transfer to the hotel. **Bali beach extension: Day 11 Chiang Mai / Bali Breakfast. Departure by flight to Bali.
