Day 1 Portugal / Kathmandu
Departure by flight to Kathmandu, by the chosen route. Night on board.
Day 2 Kathmandu / Swayambunath / Kathmandu
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon city tour of Kathmandu. The Royal Palace and the Palace of the Living Goddess turn Durbar Square into a real spectacle. The best panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley await you at the Swayambunath Stupa. Accommodation.
Day 3 Kathmandu / Pathan / Kathmandu
Breakfast. Morning visit to Patan, also known as Lalitpur, the oldest of the three cities that make up the Kathmandu Valley. Visit Durbar Square or Royal Palace Square, where you can see various temples and monuments that form an open-air museum, a World Heritage Site. After the visits, return to the hotel.
Day 4 Kathmandu / Bandipur / Pokhara
Breakfast. Departure by road to Pokhara. On the way, stop at Bandipur, an ancient village at the foot of the Himalayas that still preserves the typical culture and architecture of the Newar people. As well as having a wonderful view over the Marsyangdi valley, on clear days you can see some of the highest peaks in the Annapurna range. Arrival in Pokhara, the starting point for many expeditions.
Day 5 Pokhara / Sarangkot / Stupa of World Peace / Pokhara
Departure for Sarangkot, where, weather permitting, you can enjoy the sunrise in front of the magnificent views of the Annapurna. Return to the hotel and breakfast. Then a visit to the city of Pokhara: Bindabasini Temple, Gupteshwor Cave, Devis Waterfall and the Tashiling Tibetan Refugee Handicraft Center. Boat trip on Lake Phewa. In the afternoon, a short walk to the World Peace Stupa. Return to the hotel.
Day 6 Pokhara / Chitwan National Park
Full board. Departure by road to Chitwan National Park. Arrival at the lodge at lunchtime. Lunch. In the afternoon, you will have your first contact with nature. Dinner at the lodge.
Day 7 Chitwan National Park
Full board. The day will be spent on a photographic safari in a jeep. You will enter the jungle on foot, accompanied by a naturalist guide, and enjoy a canoe trip down the Rapti River to continue discovering the flora and fauna of the environment. Lunch and dinner at the lodge.
Day 8 Chitwan National Park / Kathmandu
Breakfast. Departure by road to Kathmandu via the Chinese border road. Arrival and free time.
Day 9 Kathmandu / Portugal | Male*
Departure by return flight to Portugal. Night on board. *Maldives extension: Day 9 Kathmandu / Male (Maldives Islands) Breakfast, free morning to continue discovering the city. In the afternoon, departure by flight to Male. Night on board.
Day 10 Portugal | Maldives Islands*
Arrival. * Maldives extension: Day 10 Maldives Islands Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
