Day 1 Portugal / Bali
Departure on a flight to Bali. Night on board.
Day 2 Bali / Ubud
Arrival in Bali and transfer inland to Ubud, the spiritual and cultural center of the island, surrounded by spectacular rice terraces. Accommodation.
Day 3 Ubud
Breakfast. Departure for Batubulan, famous for its rock carvings and the Barong dance performance, which represents the eternal struggle between good (Barong) and evil (Rangda). Continue to the Tegenungan waterfall and visit the art market and Puri Saren Agung. In the afternoon, visit the rice fields of Tegalalang.
Day 4 Ubud / Candidasa
Breakfast. Departure for Kerta Gosa, where the Klungkung Court is located. Continue to Kusamba, a fishing village where you can see salt making and the colorful reeds lined up along the black sandy shores. The coastal road, with sweeping views of Nusa Penida, will take you to Goa Lawah, the bat cave. The last stop will be Tenganan, where you can see local women wearing the famous "Kamben geringsing" dresses that supposedly have the power to immunize the wearer against evil.
Day 5 Candidasa / Lovina
Breakfast. Visit to Taman Tirta Gangga, the water palace surrounded by rice terraces. Continue to Besakih Temple, located on the slopes of Mount Agung. It is known as Bali's mother temple because it houses ancestral shrines for Balinese Hindus. The next stop will be Kintamani, which offers breathtaking views, and Sangsit to see Beji Temple, one of the oldest temples on the island.
Day 6 Lovina / Bali Beach
Breakfast. Early morning dolphin watching option (not included). After leaving Lovina, stop at the Banjar hot springs (bathing is possible) and visit the nearby Buddhist monastery.
Return south via Bedugul to the Ulun Danu Temple on the waters of Lake Beratan. Continue to Tanah Lot, one of Bali's most beautiful temples, built by the sea.
Days 7 to 10 Bali Beach
Breakfast. Free days.
Day 11 Bali / Portugal
Breakfast. Departure by return flight to Portugal. Night on board.
Day 12 Portugal
Arrival.
Our services
Regular flight, economy class (reservations in special classes). Bed and breakfast. Transfers and excursions with a local guide in Spanish exclusively for Catai clients. With Spanish-speaking assistance on incoming transfers (January to June and November to December) and with Spanish-speaking assistance at the airport and transfer to the hotel only with a driver (without a guide) in the other months. The departure transfer will always be with a driver (without a guide). Travel insurance.
