Day 1 Portugal / Chiang Mai
Departure by flight to Chiang Mai, by the chosen route. Night on board.
Day 2 Chiang Mai
Arrival in Chiang Mai, better known as the "Rose of the North". Transfer to the airport. Rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation.
Day 3 Chiang Mai
Half board. Visit an elephant sanctuary based on eco-sustainability where you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with these magnificent animals. Continue to the orchid and butterfly farm for lunch. Departure for Doi Suthep mountain to visit Wat Prathat Doi Suthep for a panoramic view.
Day 4 Chiang Mai / Tha Ton / Chiang Rai
Half board. Leave by road for Tha Ton, a small village near the Burmese border. Visit the village of Long Neck Karen (giraffe women), with numerous rings around their elongated necks. Continue with a boat trip on the Mae Kok River to Baan Pa Tai, before continuing by road to Chiang Rai. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit Wat Rong Seur, known as the Blue Temple. Trishaw ride through the residential area of Chiang Rai and visit a local market. End with a visit to Wat Ming Muang.
Day 5 Chiang Rai / Golden Triangle / Chiang Rai
Half board. Visit to Mae Fah Luang Botanical Garden, the Princess's royal house and a local mu-su. On the way, a visit to some ethnic hill tribe villages. Continue to the Golden Triangle, where the Mekong River forms the border between Burma, Laos and Thailand at the confluence of Ruak and Mae Khong. Short boat trip on the river that forms the triangle. Lunch at a local restaurant. Departure for Chiang Saen, former capital of the first Thai kingdom. Visit the hilltop Wat Phra Dhat Jom Kitti, Wat Jedi and a small museum nearby.
Day 6 Chiang Rai / Lampang / Sukhothai
Full board. Visit to Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple, and the ancient temple Wat Prathat Lampang Luang, one of the most interesting and important temples in northern Thailand, where several large Bodhi trees are used as shrines around the complex. Lunch at a restaurant. Continue to Si Satchanalai Historical Park, where archaeological remains of 134 monuments have been discovered. Arrival in Sukhothai. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 7 Sukhothai / Ayuthaya / Bangkok
Half board. Visit to Sukhothai Historical Park, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the park, you can admire the beautiful Buddha statues and explore the many ruined temples and monasteries. Continue to Ayutthaya, to see the largest Buddha image of Phra Mongkhon Bophit, the ancient pagodas of Wat Phra Si Sanphet and Wat Lokaya Sutharam. Lunch in a restaurant. Continue by road to Bangkok.
Day 8 Bangkok
Breakfast and visits to Bangkok's most important temples: Wat Trimitr, Wat Pho, and the Grand Palace, one of the most beautiful examples of the courts of Siam with the marvelous Temple of the Emerald Buddha.

Breakfast. Free day.
Day 10 Bangkok / Portugal | Bangkok* | Bali** | Maldives***
Breakfast. Departure on the return flight, according to the chosen itinerary. Night on board (With some airlines, the flight is during the day and you will arrive in Portugal on the same day). * Thailand Beach Extension Bangkok / Thailand Beach (Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi or Koh Samui) Breakfast.
