GUATEMALA WITH RIVIERA MAYA

REGULAR CIRCUIT - TIKAL NATIONAL PARK - ALL INCLUSIVE IN RIVIERA MAYA
Day 1 Portugal / Guatemala City
Departure by flight to Guatemala. Accommodation.
Day 2 Guatemala City / Chichicaste-nango / Lake Atitlán
Breakfast. Departure for the highlands to Chichicastenango, where you will visit one of the most famous indigenous markets in Latin America. Participation in a workshop on making corn tortillas, a staple food in Guatemala, in a community house which will allow us to have more direct contact with the community. Departure for Lake Atitlan, one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, with its three volcanoes and twelve indigenous villages.
Day 3 Lake Atitlán (San Juan La Laguna and Santiago)
Breakfast. Visit by public boat to the villages of San Juan La Laguna, characterized by the harmony with which its inhabitants live in harmony with nature and culture, and Santiago de Atitlán, inhabited by indigenous Zutuhiles who make their living from fishing and handicrafts, although they are better known as worshippers of a Mayan-Catholic deity they call Maximón. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 4 Lake Atitlán / Iximché / Antigua
Breakfast. Departure for the city of Antigua. On the way, visit the archaeological site of Iximché, the ancient Mayan capital of the Cakchiquel kingdom. On arrival in Antigua, visit of the city declared a World Heritage Site, visit of the Cathedral, the Church of La Merced, the Central Square and its main streets and monuments.
Day 5 Antigua
Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the city. A true colonial jewel of the New World, it jealously preserves the legendary image of a typical 17th century Spanish city.
Day 6 Antigua / Petén area
Breakfast and free morning. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Flores.
Day 7 Petén area (P. N. Tikal) / Guatemala City
Half board. Visit to the city of Tikal, the jewel of the classic Mayan world. Picnic lunch inside the archaeological site. Transfer to Flores airport and departure flight to Guatemala City.
Day 8 Guatemala City / Riviera Maya
Full board. Transfer to the airport to board the flight to Cancun. Arrival and transfer to the selected hotel.
Days 9 and 10 Riviera Maya
All inclusive. Free days.
Day 11 Riviera Maya / Portugal
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and flight back to Portugal, via Mexico City. Night on board.
Day 12 Portuga
Arrival.
Our services
Regular flight, economy class (reservations in special classes). Bed and breakfast. 1 picnic lunch (drinks not included). Transfers, visits and ground transportation in regular service (shared with other clients, maximum 16 passengers), with local guides in Spanish. Riviera Maya.
