Day 1 Portugal / Edinburgh
Departure by flight to Edinburgh. Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Depending on arrival time, free time to explore this charming city. Accommodation.
Day 2 Edinburgh
Breakfast. Morning city tour, including entry to Edinburgh Castle, and afternoon free time to visit the elegant 17th century Georgian New Town and the historic Old Town. Edinburgh is considered the second most visited city in the UK after London and has also been the seat of the Scottish Parliament since 1999. The parliament building is impressive. Its green space in the Princess Street Gardens is worth a visit.
Day 3 Edinburgh / Fife / St. Andrews / Dundee / Castillo de Glamis / Aberdeen
Half Board. Depart Edinburgh heading north over the famous Forth Bridge, with its panoramic views of the Firth of Forth, and travel through the Kingdom of Fife on your way to St Andrews, world famous as the birthplace of golf and home to Scotland's oldest university, where Prince William and Kate Middleton studied. You can admire the exteriors of St. Andrews Cathedral and St. Andrews Castle before heading to Dundee, where you will have free time. Continue north to Glamis Castle for sightseeing. Before arriving in the city of Aberdeen, we will stop for photographs at Dunottar Castle. Arrival in Aberdeen. Dinner.
Day 4 Aberdeen / Elgin / Whisky Route / Inver-ness / Highlands
Half board. Departure from the port city of Aberdeen, passing the cathedral and the university in the old town and continuing the journey through the Highlands to Elgin, where you will visit its medieval cathedral and have the opportunity to taste whiskey. Free time. A brief stop at the Culloden battlefield before arriving in Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, for some sightseeing on foot. Dinner.
Day 5 Highlands / Loch Ness / Isle of Skye-West Coast
Half board. In the morning, set off towards Loch Ness in search of its ancestral host "Nessie". You can see Loch Ness from the shore, visit the ruins of Urquhart Castle. The route will continue west along the loch, past the romantic Eilean Donan Castle to the mystical Isle of Skye. We will ride through the spectacular panoramas of the island, enjoying extraordinary views of the Cuillin Hills. Dinner.
Day 6 Isle of Skye-West Coast / Glencoe / Lake District
Half board. In the morning, travel to Arma-dale, on Skye, to embark for the port of Mallaig. You will follow the "Way of the Isles", proclaimed to be one of the most scenic routes in the world. Continue south past Fort William, through the historic and beautiful Vale of Glencoe, the infamous scene of the Glencoe Massacre in 1692. You will travel over the mountains of Buchaille Etive Moor, with breathtaking views. Continue along the banks of Loch Awe to reach the village of Inveraray with its castle, residence of Clan Campbell. Dinner.
Day 7 Lake District / Loch Lomond / Stirling / Edinburgh
Breakfast. Skirt the attractive Loch Fyne on your way southeast to the shores of the famous Loch Lomond, one of the most captivating places in all of Scotland. Head east to the historic city of Stirling, site of one of the most important clashes of the Scottish and English Wars of Independence. The Battle of Stirling Bridge (made famous in the movie Braveheart) in 1297 was William Wallace's greatest victory and made him the undisputed leader of the resistance against the English. Visit to Stirling Castle, situated on the rocky promontory that dominates the region and has breathtaking panoramic views. Arrival in Edinburgh.
Day 8 Edinburgh / Portugal
Breakfast. Depending on the return flight, free time for visits or last-minute shopping. Transfer to the airport. Departure on flight back to Portugal. Arrival.

Important to know
Price from British Airways, class Q, for travel from April 13th to 27th. Air taxes included. BA: 125€. Due to the high demand for hotels in Scotland during the summer months, we are unfortunately unable to guarantee accommodation on the Isle of Skye. This will affect some of the departures on the tour, for which customers will be accommodated in Gairloch. The itinerary will be modified so that customers have more time on the Isle of Skye. It is also possible that on certain dates in Scotland, from June to September, the hotels will be similar to those indicated. It is possible that, on certain dates, the tour will go in the opposite direction or that it will leave Edinburgh on day 2, so there will be an additional night at the end of the tour. You will be informed of this when you confirm your booking. Some of the hotels used on this tour are listed buildings, so some hotels may not have elevators.
