Day 1 Portugal / Oslo
Departure by flight to the Norwegian capital. Arrival in Oslo and, after collecting your luggage, transfer to the center of Oslo with the Flytoget service that connects the airport to the center in 25 minutes. Hotel next to the train station. Reception of the group with our tour guide at the hotel, room assignment. Accommodation.
Day 2 Oslo / Lillehammer / Oppland-Otta
Half board. Departure and start of the city tour of Oslo, visiting the city's main attractions, Karl Johan Street, the cathedral, the Town Hall and Frogner Park with Vigeland's sculptures. Time for lunch. Drive north along Lake Mjøsa, Norway's largest lake, to Lillehammer, a charming town which hosted the 1994 Winter Olympics. Visit the Maihaugen Museum, which exhibits the art and traditions of the Gudbrandal Valley. The valley is known for its production of brown cheese. After the visit, we head to our hotel. Arrival and room assignment. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 3 Oppland-Otta / Andalsnes (Troll Route) Ålesund
Half board. Departure for an excursion to Andalsnes, through the beautiful and mysterious Romsdal Valley. You will walk along the spectacular of the Trolls, accessible if the snow allows. This steep path has been carved directly into the mountain, leading to spectacular scenery and delighting the hiker with superb landscapes. Continue along the Storfjord to Ålesund, the Art Nouveau city with its canals and stone houses. Transfer to the hotel and room assignment. Dinner.
Day 4 Ålesund / Geiranger Fjord / Loen
Full board. Departure to discover one of the jewels of this trip: the Geiranger Fjord. The ferry crosses between Magerholm and Ørsneset or Linge and Eidsdal before continuing to the small village of Geiranger, the pearl of the fjord. A one-hour cruise on the Geiranger Fjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and voted "World's Best Destination" by National Geographic. During the cruise, you will see the "Seven Sisters" and "Bride's Veil" waterfalls, impressive cascades. Continue to Loen, where you can take the "Loen Skylift" funicular to see the incredible views and enjoy a light lunch at the top of the mountain. In the afternoon, continue to the hotel. Dinner.
Day 5 Loen / Fjord of Dreams / Bergen
Half board. Departure for Flåm. On the way, stop to admire one of the faces of the Jostedal glacier, the Bøyabreen. This is followed by a 2-hour cruise on the Sognefjord. This cruise is an exceptional way to explore the beautiful nature of southern Norway. Lunch at a local restaurant. Back in Flåm, you will start a breathtaking ride on one of the most beautiful trains in the world, according to National Geografic, the Flåmsbana. Continue through the valley of Stalheim and Voss, arriving in Bergen in the late afternoon. Arrival at the hotel.
Day 6 Bergen / Hardanger Fjord
Half board. Departure with your local guide for a visit to the capital of the fjords. You will get to know this Hanseatic city, with its old houses of typical architecture, the most notable monuments and the port. After the visit, you will set off to discover the beautiful Hardanger Fjord. Stop at the Steindalsfossen waterfalls, where a path will take you to the back of the waterfalls. Cross the fjord via the Hardanger New Bridge to reach the Vøringsfossen waterfalls, one of the highest waterfalls in Norway. During the day you will also have the opportunity to visit an apple farm, a typical fruit of the region, from which both apple juice and the cider that makes this region famous are obtained. After the visits and the tasting of this pleasant drink, you'll head back to the hotel at the foot of the Fjord
Day 7 Hardanger Fjord / Oslo
Breakfast and departure for Oslo, the capital of Norway, crossing the Hardangervidda plateau and the green valley of Hallingdal. On the way, stop in the town of Geilo and visit the outside of Torpo Church. Mid-afternoon arrival in Oslo and free time in the city.
Day 8 Oslo / Portugal
Breakfast. At the time indicated, transfer by regular Flytoget service (transfer without assistance) to the airport. Departure on flight back to Portugal. Arrival.
