EGYPT, A GIFT FROM THE NILE

Day 1 Portugal / Cairo
Departure by flight to Cairo. Arrival, transfer to hotel and accommodation.
Day 2 Cairo
Breakfast. In the morning, visit the Giza necropolis with the famous Pyramids of Chephren, Mycerinus and Cheops, the Sphinx and the lower temple. Afternoon at leisure with the possibility of visiting the necropolis of Saqqara (optional).
Day 3 Cairo
Visit to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, the largest collection of pharaonic artifacts in the world. Continue to Islamic and Christian Cairo at the Citadel of Saladin with the Mosque of Mohammed Ali or "Alabaster" and a panoramic view of the Coptic Quarter.
Day 4 Cairo / Luxor
Full board. Flight to Luxor. Depending on arrival time, visit to the Temple of Karnak and Luxor, if not possible, the following morning. Board the cruise boat.
Day 5 Luxor / Esna / Edfu
Full board. Departure to the west bank of the Nile to visit the Valley of the Kings (including three tombs, not including Tutankhamun's tomb), the Deir el Bahari or temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon or temple of Amenophis III. Return to the boat and sail to Esna. Afternoon on board to enjoy the Nilotic landscape.
Day 6 Edfu / Kom Ombo / Aswan
Full board. In the morning, visit the temple of Edfu dedicated to the God Horus, the best preserved temple in Egypt. Return to the boat and continue sailing to Kom Ombo. In the afternoon, visit the temple dedicated to the god Sobek, the crocodile, in Kom Ombo. Sailing to Aswan.
Day 7 Aswan / Abu Simbel / Aswan
Full board. Morning visit to the temples of Abu Simbel, built by Ramses II at the foot of Lake Nasser. In the afternoon, visit the temple of Isis, formerly located on the island of Philae, visit the Pink Granite Quarry and the unfinished obelisk. The rest of the afternoon is free to wander around one of the most important markets on the spice route, the Aswan souk.
Day 8 Aswan / Cairo / Portugal
Departure on a flight back to Portugal, via Cairo. Arrival.
Sharm el Sheikh extension:
Days 1 to 7-See itinerary
Day 8 Aswan / Cairo / Sharm el Sheik Half board. Departure by flight to Sharm el Sheik, via Cairo. Transfer and accommodation. Dinner at the hotel.
Days 9 to 11 Sharm el Sheikh
Sharm el Sheikh extension:
Half board. Free days to enjoy the beach. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 12 Sharm el Sheik / Portugal
Sharm el Sheikh extension:
Departure on a flight back to Portugal, via Cairo. Arrival.

Transfers in and out in regular service with assistance in Spanish. Visits in regular service (shared with other clients) with local guides in Spanish. The order of the visits may change depending on the flights between us and the direction of navigation on the River Nile, but the visits and services included remain the same. On the day of departure you must leave your cabin by 08:00.
The itinerary is based on Friday departures; if the day of departure is different, the order of visits and nights in Cairo may change. Gratuities included during the cruise.
