At Wide Travel & Events we are committed to providing responsible travel and services, favoring companies and destinations that promote sustainable practices, so that there is a reduced environmental and social impact. We are committed to helping the client diagnose, reduce and adjust the level of environmental impact related to the trips made, by sending budgets with the CO2 emissions per trip and preparing periodic reports with the CO2 emissions per company. We believe that sustainability, in its various aspects, helps to preserve the natural, cultural and economic resources of each destination. For this we have elaborated a Sustainability Policy, which Wide Travel is committed to follow, expecting the same from suppliers and partners, whenever possible.
We have also stipulated principles that are inscribed in our Code of Ethics and Conduct.This code is essential for establishing and maintaining legitimate, productive and lasting relationships among the different stakeholders. They must commit themselves to follow these principles in their area of activity.
Wide Travel has been awarded Travelife Partner status. The award recognizes long-term efforts with regard to Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility. After a demanding international process, Wide Travel meets more than 100 criteria. The Travelife Partner level standard covers ISO 26000 Corporate Social Responsibility topics, including the environment, biodiversity, human rights and labor relations. Travelife is the leading international sustainability certification for the travel industry. With this recognition of our commitment to sustainability, it motivates us even more to continue on this path and to encourage our partners and suppliers to follow the same path for the sustainable development of tourism. Wide Travel has received the Ecovadis Bronze Medal, in recognition for its sustainability performance!The objective of the EcoVadis CSR Evaluation methodology is to measure the quality of a company's CSR management system through its policies, actions and results. The assessment focuses on 21 questions that are grouped into 4 themes: environment, labor practices and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.This recognition gives us extra motivation to continue our commitment to promote and improve our sustainability performance.Ecovadis Certification
